St. Alphonsus School provides a quality, faith-filled education where students learn Catholic values and to respect themselves and others. Some families who want a faith-filled education for their child or children cannot afford the benefit of a Catholic school education.

Recipients of Adopt-A-Student scholarships have financial need; often, these are hardworking families or grandparents who are legal guardians trying to provide a Catholic education. Some families have fallen on hard times, and may need temporary help with tuition. The scholarships will be awarded not only on financial need, but on academic merit and a code of conduct. Each recipient must be walking examples of our school mission statement. Also, each family must pay part of the tuition fee where we are all working together to create a true partnership. This is not charity; it is part of our Catholic mission, and a chance to instill the values of hard work, respect, and our Catholic traditions.

Help us give a deserving student the opportunity to receive a Catholic education in the tradition and environment of St. Alphonsus School. Please remember if you become an Adopt-A-Student benefactor, your gift is 100% tax deductible, and each benefactor will receive correspondence from the student and school. Your help is needed to pass on the gift of a Catholic education and to ensure that St. Alphonsus School remains a vital part of our community. St. Alphonsus helps build a moral foundation rooted in our Catholic traditions where Christ is evident in everything we do at the school; we are "Alive in Christ."
